How to Get Gems (Diamonds)
Farm Gems in Drain the Lake: chests, badges, UPD LOG, Golden Bucket pours, and the computer Diamond upgrade tree after Jackpot.
Gems vs Tokens
Gems (Diamonds) are permanent lobby currency for buckets. Tokens reset each run for the Skill Tree. Do not confuse them when planning upgrades.
Chest Farming
Open chests while draining — especially Lost City side paths. Badges: Lucky Find (10 chests), Sunken Riches (100), Bottomless Treasure (1,000).
Badge Claims
All 18 badges award Gems at the lobby Badges NPC. Checkpoint badges unlock naturally while chasing Phone Ending.
UPD LOG & Golden Bucket
UPD LOG may grant spins or bonuses. Golden Bucket (2,000 Gems) pours can yield extra Gems during runs.
Diamond Upgrade Tree
On the in-run computer, unlock Jackpot (200 Tokens) then the Diamond upgrade branch for long-term Gem multipliers. See Early Game Skill Tree.
